Busy moms need quick dishes that satisfy the whole family. In fact, the simpler, the better. But what happens when you're planning a big get together with the extended family and they happen to be lacto-ovo vegetarians, pescatarians and macrobiotic eaters? Today we'll meet Natalie Bailey, who's cooking for a bunch of people with specific dietary needs. She's tremendously passionate about her family, her career, and her love of good food. Though she loves cooking, her upcoming family gathering is making her a bit nervous and she needs Chef Emeril's help.
TIPS:
- Mix up a double batch of red wine vinaigrette and store in your refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Use it on salads, as a dipping sauce for bread, or even to dress a simple pasta salad.
- Deconstruct your meals! Serve meat and vegetarian items separately so that your guests can create their own perfect plates.
